Assembly of ECS-2 Custom PCBs

SFU Rocketry developed an updated Engine Control System to go along with our newest generation Rocket Engines. This included the electronics, firmware, and software that controls the safe and successful ignition and firing of a Propulsion System. This system includes the power electronics, solenoid controllers, sensor feedback, signal processing, computation, and communication with the control center - all involved in firing a rocket engine.

The second generation Engine Control System includes improvements upon the first generation in the areas of: modularity, signal conditioning, power availability, and weather-proofing.
